Just imagine for a sec if James Bond owned a bike, what all would it have – a flame-thrower, ejecting seat and caterpillar tracks for wheels you say, well then the B.O.N.D (Built of Notorious Deterrents) Bike is what you actually mean. Never had a clue of what the BOND bike is, fear not, it’s not in your locality and you haven’t lost a chance to own one yet. For the inquisitive, though, I’ll confirm that this bike (pictured here) is one car hater, strapped on with a flame-thrower in the handlebar, it spits fire on the cars and other vehicles riding behind, watch out!
Conceptualized by Yannick Read of the Environmental Transport Association (ETA), the bike further differs from the regular ones with a seat that ejects. For the rear wheel, the bike employs a caterpillar track and has a switchable ski-blade extension for the front wheel in case you’re riding on snow. For obvious legal reasons, the B.O.N.D Bike isn’t road worthy, but it’s coming up to London for the Cycle Show 2010 next week, make sure you are there.
